What's new with 7th Child

The band has started recording a new album which should be completed in a couple of months. With so many new songs, it has been difficult to decide which to produce first. We'll try to get some of the new material up on the website as it becomes available. Stay tuned for more shows as we are actively booking gigs...

The band has been writing and arranging new music for the better part of a year now and has managed to add about 20 new songs that are ripe for recording and playing out. The band wants to give a big shout out to Carl Dupuis (the band’s biggest fan and Corey’s brother-in-law) who has been instrumental in the development of a lot of the new material, writing lyrics and working endless hours assisting with recording and arranging.

As many of you may already know, Mike Duffy left the band and moved back to Colorado earlier this summer. Mike is a powerhouse of a drummer and added some punch to our live performances. Mike was a great person and will be missed as a friend as well as a member of 7^th Child. Thanks for all you brought to the table Mike!

Replacing Mike is our new drummer: Brian Morris, who has jumped right in and is filling the spot amazingly. Brian brings a fresh new style to the band that is smooth, funky and definitely fits the music like a glove. We expect to be playing out often within the next couple of weeks.
